Bordeaux and its area have the pleasure to welcome this year 5 new starred :

La Grande Vigne, the gourmet restaurant of the Sources de Caudalie in Martillac in the vineyard of Les Graves, Le Pressoir d’Argent at the Regent Grand Hotel in Bordeaux, la Table de Montesquieu in La Brède, near Montesquieu’s family castle, le Gabriel, on the wonderful Place de la Bourse in Bordeaux and Le Moulin de Malfourat in Bergerac.

With these newcomers, there are now 32 registered restaurants, therefore giving Aquitaine the first rank. If adding Midi Pyrenees', the South West therefore enforces its "douceur de vivre", embodying gastronomy and a refined form of Epicureanism
